Newest recommended magazine, Las Vegas coverage primarily, but excellant! "Sunday Slacker"

As the publisher/editor wrote in the 1 year anniversary issue "this is for all those that enjoy the smell of an old car, gasoline and burnouts."

Sunday Slacker Magazine is the place to find out what's happening in car culture in the southwest and Las Vegas. Cruise through our pages for events, car shows, car clubs, custom builders, shops, artists and the influential leaders who have built our lifestyle from the ground up. Featuring antiques, classics, hot rods, customs, motorcycles, imports, lowriders, trucks, muscle cars, racing, motorsports and much more. Each edition covers the culture behind the cars including clothing, painters, artists, models, tattoos and music.

You can pick them up all over Las Vegas, or subscribe http://www.sundayslacker.com/ they are $5 apiece
The website isn't more than 3 or 4 full screen images, nothing linked or paged, just a subscription form... but it's a sound foundation for an events page, car clubs gallery, and contact page. Which, is editor or subscribe or events @sundayslacker.com or check it out at facebook, myspace, flicker or twitter

New magazine to be on the lookout for, Street Rodder Premier (hopefully more feature cars and great photography, less how to articles)

I found a copy of this full page PDF http://ads.simautomotive.com/PERFORMANCE/_PDF/_PDFS/Street_Rodder_Premium.pdf in Rodandcustom magazine and they've got me interested... now I just need to find a place to buy an issue

I'm impressed and amazed by the obscurity of 1967 fashion photoshoot at the Irwindale Raceway, with drag racer Danny Ongais, driver for MT & Leong

So you too must be wondering, who in the hell thought dragsters and womens fashion couture had anything in common? It was Vogue magazine, April 1967 issue

The "Drag T" unchanged since 1959, and the aged look is looking cool! The May 2010 "Hot Rod Delux" cover car too, incidentally

Above, very vintage 1950's color photography, sadly, some colors and areas in it aren't doing too well

Having the magazine that features your car on the cover, on your front seat, so the background "image" of the front seat leather matches the front seat leather... very cool
showing the time and drying out of decades

Motor Trend Classic will be back in press! About effing time!

http://www.mediaweek.com/mw/content_display/news/magazines-newspapers/e3i3bf2d3f4053dfeb2e0011e2788571a8d talks about it.

I had a subscription to this and loved it, I still have my copies. They killed the magazine without telling any of us subscribers, and that still pisses me off. No one bothered to contact us to offer a substitute or arrange for our satisfaction of how Motor Trend's owners would repay us our subscription money. http://www.autoblog.com/2007/02/15/rip-motor-trend-classic-cancelled/ talks about it's demise in 2007

They don't seem to be wide open to renewing subscriptions, as the wording they use is "Limited number" of subscriptions, so maybe that is their way of pressuring interested people to nailing down your money so they can finance this idea.

Order yours, if it's as good as the previous iteration, it's worth it. It won't be monthly, it's now going to be quarterly, like Rodders Journal. It starts with the Spring 2010 issue. Order from this website https://www.circsource.com/store/Subscribe.html?offerId=3896 I just did.

here's my post about the dork's who kileed off the monthly in Feb 2007

Did the art director nail the composition, or what? Outta' the park!

I ordered mine, hell yes! Gotta own this and display it, if it were poster size (the top photo) I'd effing frame it. Wait, that is brilliant! Everybody like me who has to have a poster size copy, hang on, I'm gonna see if I can talk them into it!

A variety of cool cars and stuff at the Grand National Roadster Show

It's probably never going to happen again that 2 Kaiser Darrin cars are sitting side by side. Probably hasn't happened since the last Darrin left the dealership lot.
