The difference between Mustang engine bays, for a 289 or a Boss 429

Taken from close to the same view angle, these are a terrific aid in determining all the mods that Ford had to do to shove a 427, 428, or 429 into a early Mustang
Thanks to Ed for the photos!

Troy Brumbalow's Franken'cuda, design by Pfaff Design

Like almost half the cars I see at car shows and SEMA, it was made to tour, show, and sell. 3 months later, it's at auction in the January Barrett Jackson http://justacarguy.blogspot.com/2011/01/famous-vehicles-for-sale-at-barrett.html

the odd design style of Paul Jaray, applied to a 1935 Maybach Streamliner coupe at the Paris Autoshow contrasted with the 1938 GAZ gl1

Above image from http://dieselpunks.blogspot.com/2010/06/perfect-streamline.html via: http://megamoto.tumblr.com/

Bottom photo was from Le Container I think.. not sure
Anyway, what a contrast of designs.. the Jaray at top was streamlined body, big cabin... opposite the GAZ below. Odd to have found these photos at about the same time.

Chris has posted a thorough comparison of a variety of car by their drag coefficients

I had no idea that a Ford Probe, a Vector, a Chevy Lumina APV (mini van), and a Jaguar XJ220 all had a .30 drag coefficient, remarkable!

But the 1948 Tucker was just .28! and the '35 Tatra was .21, better than the new Mercedes Benz CL E Class Coupe

This is the best looking Studebaker design I've ever seen... looks like a '41 Willys

Nice rear bumper, the v shape and rounded ends look good
Simple and good looking hood looks just like a Willys American, and the dual grills look better than the 40 Willys, but not quite as good as a 41 Willys grill

One bent grill piece

This look anything like a Studebaker to you? I don't think so. But that's what all the
manufacturer stuff on it says it is. Better proportions than the business coupe Dodge too.
